Welcome to HabitUnlock! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HabitUnlock mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HabitUnlock, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HabitUnlock is a habit tracking and screen time management app that:

• Helps you build healthy habits through gamification
• Tracks progress via Apple HealthKit integration
• Optionally blocks distracting apps until habits are complete
• Rewards you with earned screen time

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Free Features

Basic habit tracking features are available for free.

3.2 Premium Subscription

HabitUnlock Premium offers additional features including unlimited habits, app blocking, and detailed analytics. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account.

3.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple according to their App Store policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for its intended purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• Grant necessary permissions for features you wish to use (HealthKit, Screen Time)
• Maintain the security of your device

5. Health Disclaimer

HabitUnlock is a habit tracking tool, NOT a medical device or health advisor. The App does not provide medical advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any exercise or health program.

6. App Blocking Features

The app blocking feature uses Apple's Screen Time API. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge:

• Apps may be temporarily inaccessible until habits are complete
• Emergency override options are available
• You can disable blocking at any time in Settings
• We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by app blocking

7. Intellectual Property

HabitUnlock and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by HabitUnlock and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HABITUNLOCK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
